John Marshall, Chief Executive Officer

John Marshall is a visionary entrepreneur and owner of iS3 Solutions, the leading provider in innovative technology and solutions firm. In many ways, iS3 Solutions is a reflection of John’s professional expertise, personal drive, and his commitment to helping others. The company has enjoyed dramatic growth, even during the economic downturn, and has developed a reputation for excellence among numerous Fortune 500 companies.

The son of African American parents, John was raised in the Washington D.C. – Virginia area and attended Howard University where he earned his B.S. in Architecture & Planning. John received his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Business / Exec Administration at Villanova University. John eventually moved to New Jersey where he now resides with his wife and three children. Prior to founding iS3 Solutions, John oversaw Program Management for Infrastructure Services at McGraw Hill where he managed the provision of IT solutions for global footprint. With an extensive background in the technology solutions industry and program management, John now combines his business acumen with his desire to help others by developing transformative programs that promote diversity in the workforce and supply chain. In his local community, John coaches minority youth about how they can get involved with technology and use it to advance their careers and lives. A member of the Board of Directors for the HBCU Foundation, John is very active in developing educational programs for minorities. John believes that each person should set his or her own destiny, and does what he can to help them on their path. “No one can stop you from reaching the stars,” he says. “It’s up to you. How badly do you want it?”
